1. Part 1: Prepare for year end

   • Run data integrity
   • Check for retained income account
   • Check open batches
   • Print year end reports
   • Create year end back up
   • Optional - 13th period
   • Stock Take - Inventory users only
   • Forgein Currency revaluation - Multi Currency users only

2. Part 2: Running the year end assistant

   • Using POS or Debtors Manager SQL
   • Not using POS or Debtors Manager SQL

3. Part 3: Housekeeping tasks - post year end

   • Checking financial periods
   • Post year end data integrity
   • Add and activate the new company
   • Remove documents from hold
   • Metrofile back-up service - only users who user Metrofile
