Revert back to a Previous Tax Year

How to access a Previous Tax Year in Sage Payroll Classic.

Description

Resolution

  1. Click the dropdown on Current period: end date in the black navigation bar.
  2. Click Previous Tax Year and choose tax year from the dropdown menu.

    NOTE:

    If you don’t see the Current Period Tab, maximise the browser Zoom.

  3. Click Continue on the bottom-right hand side of your screen.
  4. A pop-up message will appear that you’re now in your chosen Previous Tax Year. 
  5. Click OK to continue.

CAUTION:

You won't be able to terminate an employee or employ an employee again in the previous year.
