Complete the following preparation tasks before you run your year end assistant.

Run the data integrity

Ensure there are no errors in your data and allow your year end assistant to run efficiently.

Check that you have a retained income account

You must only have one retained income account or your year end assistant won't run correctly.

Checking for open batches

The year end assistant won't run if you have open batches.

Running your year end reports

We recommend you print several reports for your submission.

Back up your current company data

We advise that you take a backup before you run the year end assistant.
