You can't run your year end if Sage 50cloud Pastel finds data integrity errors. Run the Data Integrity before the year end to catch and fix problems early.

Before you start

• Ask all users to log out
• Back up your company data. See Process a backup in Sage 50cloud Pastel

Run the Data Integrity check

1. Open Sage 50cloud Pastel.
2. Open your company.
3. Select File.
4. Select Data Integrity.
5. Select Next.
6. Select Verify the Data Only.
7. Select Process.

If Sage 50cloud Pastel finds errors, an error report appears.

Fix a "Missing accounts" error

If the error report lists missing accounts:

1. Note the missing account numbers from the error report.

2. Open your company in Sage 50cloud Pastel.

3. recreate the missing accounts. See Creating a general ledger account.

4. Re-run the Data Integrity.

Fix other data integrity errors

For any error other than missing accounts, contact Sage Support.

Have the following ready:

• Your customer or base serial number
• Your Sage 50cloud Pastel version number
• The error report
