History of changes for build 19.4.7

We've released Sage 50 Pastel Accounting build version 19.4.7 on 16 September 2025. 

Enhancements

A new feature in Manage Companies lets you classify companies as either View-only or Transactable.

• View-only companies restrict all users to the View menu only
• Transactable companies function normally, with user-level permissions applied as before

 NOTE: Adding or removing a company or changing its status now requires an internet connection as this affects subscription entitlements.

Issues resolved

We've made the following changes in the new build:

• The system blocks users without Bank Manager access from accessing the module
• We resolved the issue where users received an "incorrect password" message despite entering the correct password
• We corrected the column order in the Sales Journal. The system now displays Exclusive and Inclusive values in the correct positions
• We resolved an issue where the Sales by Customer report exports data into incorrect Excel columns
• We corrected an error that caused the system to reject invoices with negative amounts during import. This was related to a negative total validation. The system now allows valid invoices with positive totals
• We reversed the VAT 15.5% increase, withdrew the preparation message, and removed the activation date
