Adding and activating companies - build 19.4.7 and above

Resolution

 NOTE: You'll require an active internet connection when adding, removing or changing your companies.   

Adding a Company on the Server or stand-alone:

  1. Go to File then Open.
  2. Click Manage then Add Company.
  3. Select the company dataset and click OK.
    The company will show with the transactable icon.  

Setting a company as view only

  1. Go to File then Open and click Manage.
  2. Click a company with  and click Make View Only.
    The company icon will change to .

Changing a company to Transactable

  1. Go to File then Open and click Manage.
  2. Click a company withand click Make Transactable.
    The company icon will change to.

Activating a Company on the Workstation:

  1. Click File and then Open.
  2. Click Manage Company.
    • The new company will appear with a red cross
  3. Click the company and then Activate Company.
  4. On the first drop-down menu, look for your mapped drive.
  5. Double-Click on the Xpress/Pastel yellow folder.
  6. Double-Click on the company that you need to activate.
  7. Click OK and then Close.

     

  8. Your company will appear in the Open a Company screen.
  9. Highlight the company and click Open.
