History of changes for build 19.4.7

We've released Sage 50 Pastel Accounting build version 19.4.7 on 16 September 2025. 

Enhancements

A new feature in Manage Companies lets you classify companies as either View-only or Transactable.

PPA-1551\PPA-1552: 

• View-only companies restrict all users to the View menu only
• Transactable companies function normally, with user-level permissions applied as before
• Related article: Adding and activating companies - build 19.4.7 and above

 NOTE: Adding or removing a company or changing its status now requires an internet connection as this affects subscription entitlements.

Issues resolved

PPA-1513: 

Users without Bank Manager access rights could access the module. Access permissions are  
now enforced correctly. 

PPA-1557: 

The issue of receiving an "incorrect password" message when the correct password is 
entered has been resolved. 

PPA-1567:  

Negative invoice totals are not permitted when importing invoices without negative 
amounts. 

PPA-1559:   

Corrected the column order in the Sales Journal to display Exclusive and Inclusive values in 
the correct positions. 

PPA-1560:   

Resolved an issue where the Sales by Customer report exported data into incorrect columns 
in Excel.

PPA-1567:  

Corrected an error where invoices negative amounts were incorrectly rejected during 
import due to negative total validation. Import now allows valid invoices with positive 
totals. 

PPA-1624:  

VAT 15.5% increase reversed; preparation message withdrawn and activation date removed.
