Description

Task 1: Preparing for the year end

You follow these steps to ensure the different sections of your company's books are in order. 

You will also need to safe guard your data by running a data integrity and making a backup.

Task 2: Running the year end assistant

 CAUTION: Ensure you have processed all the year end preparation checks. You will not be able to process some of these checks after you have run the year end. Failing to do this will result in inaccurate financials.

Task 3: Post year end checks

After you have run the year end Assistant, you’ll need to run specific year end checks. This is to ensure the year end was successful.

You need to run these checks immediately after the year end assistant has completed running. Don’t skip this step. Some issues require you to restore the dataset from before you run the year end assistant. This could result in a loss of data if run days or months after running the year end assistant.
