How to download a software update from the Sage Portal

Sage VIP Classic, Sage VIP Premier: Steps on how to download update software from the Sage Portal.

•  Log in to Sage Portal

NOTE: Reset your password when you access the Portal the first time. Click here for more details.

• Click Product Updates

• Select your payroll product from the drop-down menu:

• Select the software version to install from the list of available updates

TIP: The most recent software version displays at the top.

• Review the onscreen system and install prerequisites 
• Download and review the Installation Notes for requirements to install the software 
• Download the review the Release Notes 
• Download the software update installer
• All version-specific patch, tax and report/bank files per release are now available per release

NOTE: Review all documentation related to other software update before installing the update to ensure you meet the prerequisites.
