How do I download a software update from the Sage Portal?

Sage VIP Classic, Sage VIP Premier: Find steps outlining on how to download software from the Sage Portal.

•  Login to Sage Portal

NOTE: If you are accessing the Sage Portal for the first time, you will need to reset your password. Click here for more details.

• Click on Product Updates

• Select your Payroll Product from the drop down menu:

• Select the required software version from the list of available updates

TIP: The most recent software release will always be listed at the top

• Review the onscreen prerequisites onscreen 
• Download and review the Installation Notes to review the requirements to install the software 
• Download the Release Notes to review changes and new feature in software, as well as actions to follow (if required)
• Download the software update installer, which you can run when you are ready to update your application
• All version specific patch, tax and report/bank files per release are now available per release

NOTE: Please review all documentation related to other software update, before installing the update to ensure the prerequisites are met.
