How to reset my password on the Sage Portal

Steps how you to reset your password if forgotten or accessing Sage Portal the first time. This solution is for users of Sage VIP Classic and Premier, Sage Payroll Professional, Sage Pastel Payroll, and Sage 300 People.

Description

The Sage Portal is a centralised online platform designed to help Sage customers manage their accounts, access support, and stay informed.

Resolution

Reset your password:

  1. Go to https://portal.sage.co.za/shp/.
  2. Select Reset Password.

  1. Enter your Site Code (your Sage account number).
  2. Enter your email address registered with Sage.
  3. Select Submit.

 NOTE: If your Site Code and/or email is incorrect or not registered with Sage, you’ll see the notification below: 

Onscreen message when details are incorrect or not registered.

Check your email:

  1. Open the email sent to your registered address.
  2. If the email is in your Junk or Spam folder, move it to your Inbox.
  3. Select the link in the email to reset your password.
  4. Create a new password and confirm it.

Once completed, return to the Sage Portal and sign in using your Site Code, email address, and new password.
