Summary
What to check when a company director doesn't appear on the Occupational Injuries and Diseases (OID) report. This article relates to Sage VIP Classic, Sage VIP Premier and Sage Payroll Professional.
Description
When printing the OID report (Real Number 502), the director isn't reflecting on the report as expected. The report split the details of directors from the standard employees.
Cause
For the Directors to appear separately on the OID Report you'll need to change the employee's tax status to one of the following:
- PAYE (Director)
- Temporary (Director)
- Directive (Director).
Resolution
Review and correct the employee's tax status:
- From the Main Menu, go to Employee.
- Choose Change Employee.
- Select the employee from the list.
- Click Statutory Details tab.
- Verify and correct the Tax Status.
NOTE: Changing the employee's tax status forces a tax recalculation. We recommend that you print the EMP201 report before making any changes. This assists with reconciling the employee's record if tax changes.
