How do I enter my Site Code when calling Sage Customer Support?

When you contact Sage South Africa telephonically, you are prompted to confirm what assistance you require, and then enter your Site Code or Customer Number, for you to connect to the correct technical team for your licensed Sage software.

To facilitate a smoother support experience, we like to highlight a few options available to you: 
 
Streamlined Call Routing  
When you call Sage, you are offered a series of options that will take you to the support team you need. Listen carefully to those and select your ‘destination’ accordingly.  
 

 

If you are asked for your Site Code or Account Number and it consists of a letter from the alphabet, replace the letter of the alphabet with the corresponding number on your keypad. For example, if your Site Code is WJ123 – you would replace the letter W with the number 9 on your keyboard and the letter J with the number 5 – essentially typing in 95123. 
 
By entering your Site Code or Customer Number, the system will automatically identify what product you are using and route you to the relevant team.
You can use the below guide to assist you with your alphanumeric code:
When the telephone system prompts you for your Site Code or Customer Number, enter your Site Code by referring to the letters and numbers on the telephone keypad. 
In cases where your Site Code is preceded by a letter of the alphabet, use the corresponding number related to that letter: 
  • Not applicable = 1
  • A, B, C = 2
  • D, E, F = 3
  • G, H, I  = 4
  • J, K, L = 5
  • M, N, O = 6
  • P, Q, R, S = 7
  • T, U, V = 8
  • W, X, Y, Z = 9

 EXAMPLE: 

  • Your Site Code is Z00001 >  On the phone keypad enter 900001
  • Your Site Code is U00000 > On the phone keypad enter 800000
