ERROR: 'No companies found for the site code'

​You're migrating payroll data or adding a new client's company to your payroll.

When selecting to upload company data from Sage VIP Classic or Sage VIP Premier, the error message appears:

• Th desktop application software isn't complete (missing files)
• The cloud and desktop application version differ
• The desktop application has a different site code than the cloud payroll
• Technical issues

Verify application versions

1. Open the desktop application and launch the cloud application.
2. Confirm the system version on the Company Listing screen are the same for both systems.

Verify site code on both applications

1. Open the desktop application and launch the cloud application for both systems.
2. Confirm the site code on the Company Listing screen is the same.
3. Log in to each of the companies you want to upload.

 TIP: This step writes the site code to each record, allowing the cloud application to trust the upload. 

Reinstall system software

1. Request the latest full installation files for your desktop system to reinstall.
2. Run the installation on the system folder.

Resolve technical issues

1. Reset users to close any active sessions: Resetting users.
2. Clear browser cache: How to clear your cache of your browser.
