Description

This is the main ACU file to run the program.

​When the installation or new software is done, the file "VIPSAL.ACU" is renamed to the file name VIPSALTMP.ACU". This is to ensure, that no user is able to access the system (since it can be accessed via mapped drives, which you cannot control from the server). Once the update is successful, the installed removed the VIPSALTMP.ACU file and copies in a new one.

Resolution

  • Restore full system backup before the update
  • Check for the file VIPSALTMP.ACU in the folder, and remove the file
  • Rebuild the files prior to the installation
  • Run the update again
  • Update all companies to ensure the update was successfully completed
