Description

The 'Stop Further Entry' (SFE) function in payroll prevents any additional entries or changes to an employee's payroll record after a certain point.

Resolution

How to access 'Stop Further Entry':

  1. Access your payroll company
  2. From the Main Menu select Company, then select Stop Further Entry

▼ How to activate 'Stop Further Enactry:
  1. Select Activate Stop Further Entry

Select the options to activate:

    • Activate SFE for Payroll: This is the default option, and stops all entry payroll and employee record input
    • Activate SFE for Leave: Select this field to stop any leave changes for the current processing period

  1. Click the radio button next to Activate Stop Further Entry
  2. Click in the Tick Box field next to Activate SFE for Leave, if required
  3. Then click Save
  4. Stop Further Entry  is now activated
  5. The 'Stop Further Entry' banner now appears on the Main Menu:

NOTE: The Stop Further Entry flagging (SFE) automatically resets when you start a new pay period.

▼ How to deactivate 'Stop Further Entry':
  1. Select 'Deactivate Stop Further Entry'.

  1. Click on Save
  2. Stop Further Entry is now deactivated
