Error code 520

Reason

The bank site indicates that the additional authentication information that you provided is incorrect. Please try updating your account again. 

“Your internet banking authentication details need to be updated. Confirm your authentication information at your bank's website and retry (Error 520).”

Solution

Confirm your login details at your bank's website and retry.


Error code 521

Reason

Your bank requires that you enrol in a new authentication system. 

“Your internet banking authentication details need to be updated. Confirm your authentication information at your bank's website and retry (Error 521).”

Confirm your login details at your bank's website and retry.


Error code 522

Reason

Your login attempt has timed out.  

“Your request cannot be completed due to technical difficulties at your bank. Please try again later (Error 522).”

Solution

It's taken too long for us to contact your bank. It could be a problem with your bank or our connection. Confirm your login details at your bank's website and retry.


Error code 523

Reason

Additional login information was incorrect.  

“Your internet banking login details need to be updated. Confirm your login credentials at your bank's website and retry (Error 523).”

Solution

  • Log in to your online banking service to confirm that you have access and your password and security information is correct
  • Confirm that you have entered the same password and security information in Accounting.
  • Try again the following day


Error code 524

Reason

The additional login information has expired.  

“Your internet banking login details need to be updated. Confirm your login credentials at your bank's website and retry (Error 524).”

Solution

  • Log into your online banking service to confirm that you have access and your password and security information is correct
  • Confirm that you have entered the same password and security information in Accounting.
  • Try again the following day


Error code 525

Reason

There were temporary bank feed issues. This type of issue is typically resolved in a few days.  

“Your request cannot be completed due to technical difficulties at your bank. Please try again later (Error 525).”

Solution

Come back and try again in a day or two. Something has changed with the link to your bank and it's going to take a bit of time to get things working smoothly again.


Error code 526

Reason

The login information entered is incorrect.

“You have entered an invalid security code that is required for one-time authentication. Please try again (Error 526).”

Solution

  • Log in to your online banking service to confirm that you have access and your password and security information is correct
  • Confirm that you have entered the same password and security information in Accounting.
  • Try again the following day
