Resolution

Error code 505

Reason

Your request can’t be completed as the security system used by the site is not supported.

“Sage Accounting does not currently support the security system used by this bank. We apologise for any inconvenience. Check back periodically to see if this situation has changed. We suggest that you disconnect this bank account (Error 505).

Solution

We’re sorry. Currently, the Yodlee component does not support the security system used by the bank’s website. Please try again later to see if the situation has changed.


Error code 506

Reason

Additional bank login information is required.

“New login details are required by your banking institution. Please update your internet banking details and if required, update your Login Credentials in Accounting under Manage Bank Feeds (Error 506).”

Solution

  • Log into your online banking service to confirm your password and security information is correct and that you’ve entered the same information in Sage Accounting.
  • Log into your online banking service to check that there are no outstanding changes to the terms and conditions that you must accept, including outstanding messages.
  • Check that the details you have entered on the Manage Bank Feeds screen are correct.


Error code 507

Reason

We're not able to connect to your bank yet.  It's in the works.

“We're sorry, we have just started providing data updates for this bank, and it may take a few days to be successful as we get started. Please try again later (Error 507).”

Solution

Come back and try again in a day or two.  We're still working on creating the link to your bank and it's going to take a bit of time to get things working smoothly.


Error code 508

Reason

“Your request cannot be completed due to technical difficulties at your bank. Please try again later (Error 508).”

Solution

It's taken too long for us to contact your bank and get the information we need to download the transactions. It may be an issue with your bank or with our aggregation service. Come back and try again in a day or two.


Error code 509

Reason

“You have entered an invalid security code that is required for one-time authentication. Please try again (Error 509).”

Solution

  • Log into your online banking service to confirm your password and security information is correct and that you’ve entered the same information in Sage Accounting.
  • If the problem persists, please contact your banking institution for further assistance.
