Cause
Resolution

Error code 430

Reason

Your bank no longer supports this online service.

“Due to new legislation your bank feed is no longer supported. Please deactivate this account from Sage Accounting by clicking on Banking…Transactions…Manage Bank Feeds and then click on Deactivate. (Error 430).”

Solution

  • We cannot connect to this bank anymore. We recommend that you deactivate the bank feed.


Error code 459

Reasons

This relates to temporary bank feed issues.

“Your request cannot be completed due to technical difficulties at your bank. Please try again later. (Error 459)”.

Solution

Come back and try again in a day or two. Something has changed with the link to your bank and it's going to take a bit of time to get things working smoothly again.


Error code 475

Reasons

This relates to the registration of your bank account.

“Accounting is unable to connect to your bank.  Please try again.  (Error 475)”.

Solution

Please contact a Sage Support Consultant for assistance.


Error code 481

Reason

Your request cannot be completed due to security reasons. Your bank may limit the number of unsuccessful login attempts in one day. This error means a number of unsuccessful attempts have been made to connect to your bank in a 24 hour period.

“Your account is locked. This may be because of too many failed login attempts. Please contact your banking institution and if your account credentials change, please go to Banking…Transactions…Manage Bank Feeds and then click on Update Login Details (Error 481).”

Solution

  • Log in to your online banking service to confirm that you have access and your password and security information is correct
  • Confirm that you have entered the same password and security information in Sage Accounting.
  • Try again the following day.


Error code 499

Reason

The internet banking login details you have entered are incorrect. Please re-enter your login details.  If the problem persists, please contact your banking institution for further assistance (Error 499).

Solution

You should reauthorize your bank account in Sage Accounting. Click on Banking > Transactions > Manage Bank Feeds and then click on Update Login Details.
