From the Main Menu select:
- Reports
- Reports and Maintenance
- The report is situated on Reports Menu 1 - 100 (Release Number 608)
Select the export options to print/save the report:
- PDF File (created PDF in export location)
- ASCII file (you will need to define the location to save and the file name and extension. We recommend saving to .TXT or .XLS format only)
- View on Screen
- Exit (Cancel Printing)
Confirm selection to continue
Select the export selections:
Nature of Report:
- Detail Report: The detail report will print the details per employee
- Summary Report: The summary report will print the details per company totals
Print details of:
- Current Month Remuneration Values (see report headings below)
- YTD Deduction Values: The report will display the current month's deduction liabilities (see report headings below)
Report totals:
The totals will reflect at the bottom of each column. If sorting was selected on the report, there will be subtotals per sorting option and final totals at the end of the report.
The following information will display below the totals as a summary of the EMP201 values:
- The Period of payment will refer to the specific calendar year and month.
NOTE: If an employee has an assessment year different from the current tax year, the details will be displayed on a separate page.
- The PAYE, SDL, and UIF reference numbers will display as entered on the Basic Company Information screen
- The value for Amount Payable will be the Total PAYE, SDL and UIF.
- Total Incentive Value will be the calculated tax incentive that can be claimed on the EMP201 Declaration when completed on SARS eFiling.
- The EMP201 report will also display an explanation of the SDL and UIF exclusion reason codes:

Print the report for multiple companies
Should you need to print the report consolidated for multiple companies, you will need first to group the companies and select to print grouped or consolidated reports.
