Run the data integrity check

1. Select File, then Data Integrity.
2. Select Next.
3. Select Verify the Data Only.
4. Select Process.

The check runs. Sage 50cloud Pastel shows one of two results:

• No errors: Select Close. Your data is fine. Continue with your other post-year end tasks
• Error report: Follow the next step to recover

If the check finds errors, restore and re-run the year end

1. Restore your pre-year end backup. See Restore a backup in Sage 50cloud Pastel.

2. Run the data integrity check again to confirm your restored data is clean.

     If the check still finds errors, don't run the year end again. Contact Sage Support
3. Re-run the year end. See Process the year end in Sage 50cloud Pastel.

4. Run the data integrity check one more time to confirm the re-run was clean.

   •  

     If the check still finds errors, contact Sage Support and request a data fix

If you need to contact Sage Support

Have the following ready:

• Your customer number
• A copy of the error report
• The date and time you ran the year end
