1. When is the deadline for the move to the new platform?
From 31 August 2025 the existing InfoSlips site will no longer be available to process payslips.
2. Why are we moving over to a new environment for Infoslips?
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment offers the following:
- improved technology
- enhanced security
- faster processing
- more attractive look and feel to your payslips
3. What is the new website address to access InfoSlips?
To log into the new site:
- Go to https://www.infoslips.com
- Hover over Admin Login and select Infoslips Cloud
- the alternative is go to https://admin.infoslipscloud.com/
4. Will employees still need a PUK number and InfoSlips viewer program to access InfoSlips?
No employees access the payslip though a link on InfoSlip email.
The link takes them the employee to the online portal to access the payslips using their ID number.
5. What if my employee doesn’t have an ID number (foreign worker for instance)?
The system default to use of the ID number of an employee. If there's no ID number for the employee, system allows the employee to access their pay slip with their date of birth (format CCYYMMDD).
6. Will employees still be able to view historic payslips online?
Yes, employee log in on https://viewer.infoslipscloud.com with same credentials they use to log in on the old Infoslips website.
7. Is there a change in the monthly InfoSlips pricing?
No, the pricing for InfoSlips will remain unchanged. The only impact is for employers using Consolidated InfoSlips. You'll need to move to Standard InfoSlips to receive an SMS InfoSlip. As result, we expect a change in your monthly InfoSlip processing amounts.
8. What is the cost to move over to the new AWS system?
- The conversion process takes 2 hours
- The rate is R995 excl. VAT per hour
9. What is the process follow to implement the changes?
- We create new InfoSlips templates on the new AWS portal
- Thereafter, we help with minor changes on each of the payroll entities
- To test the new solution, we generate test InfoSlips ensure the InfoSlip security works
10. What happens with Consolidated InfoSlips?
InfoSlips discontinued the user of Consolidated InfoSlips. Affected employees will need to switch to SMS InfoSlips. They’ll receive an SMS with a secure link. The link opens the secure portal where they can access the secure InfoSlip site on their smart phone.
11. What are the requirements needed to receive an SMS InfoSlip on a mobile device?
- Android or Apple Smart Phone.
- Less than 1 MB of data to open the InfoSlip.
