Learn how to fix the ‘Sage Intelligence cannot create the report. Microsoft Excel is not currently installed. Install MS Excel’ error when running a Sage 200 Evolution, Sage Intelligence report.

Consider the following reasons and advice to resolve the above error:

 

A. MS Excel not locally installed

MS Excel should be installed on the local PC where the SI reports are run. 

You should have at least Office version 2016 or higher installed.

 

If this is the case and the above error is still displayed, apply the rest of the advice below.

 

B. Unlicenced MS Office package

Always ensure the locally installed MS Office package is fully licenced.

 

If this is the case and the above error is still displayed, apply the rest of the advice below.

  

C. Uninstall and Reinstall MS Excel

MS Excel (and the complete MS Office) needs to be uninstalled and re-installed as it may contain corrupted system files.

Doing this should resolve the above error.
