First, note the following:

The advice below assumes you have a basic understanding of navigating and working with the Report Writer module.

The Report Writer module provides the standard source document layouts and is also used to customise them.

 

Consider the following advice to resolve the above error:

The above error may be due to various kinds of layout customisation mistakes. These include, but are not limited to:

A. Incorrect height setting between the various layout’s report bands

ANver drag the areas between the various report bands too far apart from each other.

B. Removal of minimum required fields

Several layouts in Evolution require certain minimum fields and should not be deleted when customising them. 

For example, on the Supplier Invoice layout’s Design screen, you should notice the following group of fields:

You can make them invisible if required and move them to any other location on the Design screen, but never delete them.

Therefore, when the above error is displayed directly after you have customised the layout and saved it, try to recall which standard layout fields were deleted.

Then, reinsert the deleted field/s, make them invisible (and drag them to another location on the layout f required).

When done, save the layout changes.
