Verify that your payroll software is on the correct softare release version. This ensures your IRP5 reports export with the SARS e@syFile file specification.

Resolution

Below is the compatible software versions for the current and previous tax years"

  • Tax Year-end 2024/2025: Release 6.3b (with OID patch release 15/11/2024) or 6.4a
  • Tax year-end 2023/2024: Release 6.1b or 6.2a
  • Tax year-end 2023/2024: Release 5.9a or 6.0a
