How to use the custom layout designer to customise your document and statement layouts in Sage Accounting.
Resolution
Customising a form
- Double-click on the Accounting Custom Layout Designer icon on your desktop.
- Login using the username and password you use for Sage Accounting.
- Select the what document you want to customise and select Design.
Inserting a Logo
- Click Company and then Change Company Settings.
- Click Branding and click Choose File.
- Go to your logo and click Open.
- Choose your logo position and tick the option where to place your logo.
- Click Save.
NOTE: Sage Accounting automatically links the logo from the branding tab to the picture box on the form. Don't delete this picture box or your logo won't display.
Changing your Font
- Highlight the text box you want to change.
- You can change the font style, size and colour using the standard text menu
Adding a new field
- On the right-hand side of the screen, click Field List.
- Select the field to add and drag and drop it onto the form.
Saving the new layout
- Go to File and click Save As.
- Give the layout a name and click Save.
