How to print the Increase History report

Learn how to print the Increase History report in Sage VIP Classic and Sage VIP Premier. This report shows the last four increases recorded for employees.

Description

The Increase History report shows up to four past pay raises for each employee. The availability of data depends on how many pay periods in the History File. 

Resolution

Print the Increase History report.

  1. From the main menu of the company, select History.
  2. Select Reports.
  3. Choose Increase History.
  4. Select the required date ranges and sorting options.
  5. Select Continue.
  6. Complete the report selections:
    • Select all increases, or historic (excluding current pay period)
    • Select to include totals
    • Tick Create CSV file if you want to view the report in Excel
    • Select Include Terminations to see history of inactive employees

 NOTE: The CSV file saves in the payroll system directory. 

  1. Select Continue.
  2. A print preview will appear on screen.
  3. Select the Print button to print to a printer or PDF file.

The report displays up to four increase transactions per employee record. Select different date ranges to see earlier increases transactions.

 CAUTION: If you purged previous pay periods data (older than 2 years), the increase dates won't in the report.
