Updating the Occupational Injuries and Diseases (OID) annual limit for reporting

How to change the Occupational, Injuries and Diseases (OID) annual limit (known as the earnings threshold) on Sage VIP Classic and Sage VIP Premier.

Description

The Minister or Director General of Employment and Labour publishes the new limit annually. This OID report uses this limit in calculations for reporting your Return of Earnings (ROE) online.

NOTE:

You'll need to update the limit when published in all South African companies.

Resolution

Access your South African company from the Company Listing screen.
From the Main Menu, go to Company.
Choose Basic Company Information.
Change the value of the OID Annual Limit to the new limit for the current year of assessment.
- The new limit now applies to the OID Report.
Click Close to return to the Main Menu.
