How do I set up a Payslip Scheduled Task on Sage 300 People.

Description

Scheduled tasks allow you to automate the distribution of secure employee payslips via email. You can configure filters, password protection, and recurrence settings. Ensure you have the correct payslip ID and email addresses before proceeding. IT provides the From Email Address.

 

 

Resolution

  1. On the Navigation Pane, expand Scheduler.
  2. Select Scheduled Tasks.
  3. Click New to create a new task.
  4. Populate required fields:
    Schedule Task Type: Select SECUREEMPREPRT – Secure Employee Report
    Schedule Name: Enter the code for the scheduled payslip
    Admin Email Address: Enter the email addresses for users who receive results
    Report Object Layout: Select the payslip linked to the task (see Identify a Payslip ID)
    From Email Address: Obtain from IT
  5. Set mail definition and password protection.

Set schedule recurrence

  1. Click the Recurrence Info icon.
  2. Configure the recurrence settings as required.
  3. Add a payslip ID and Save the task.
