Description

A browser's cache is a temporary storage location on your computer that stores parts of websites. Clearing the cache resolve issues like slow loading times or outdated content. This forces the browser to download fresh copies of files. 

Follow the steps to clear the cache for different browsers.

Resolution

Select the browser you use to access Payroll Professional to clear your cache:

▼ Google Chrome
  1. At the top-right corner, select More, then select More tools.
  2. Select Clear browsing data.
  3. At the top, choose a time range.

 TIP: To delete everything, select All time. 

  1. Deselect other browsing data types, except Cached images and files.
  2. Select Clear data.
▼ Microsoft Edge
  1. At the top-right corner, select More, then Settings.
  2. Select Privacy, search, and services.
  3. Under Clear browsing data, select Clear browsing data now.
  4. Select Choose what to clear.
  5. Under Time range, choose a time range from the drop-down menu.
  6. Deselect other browsing data types, except Cached images and files.
  7. Select Clear now.
▼ Mozilla Firefox
  1. At the top-right corner, select Menu > Preferences > Privacy & Security.
  2. In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data.
  3. Remove the checkmark in front of Cookies and Site Data.
  4. With Cached Web Content check marked, select Clear.
  5. Close the "about:preferences" page.
▼ Safari
  1. At the top-left corner, select Safari > Preferences.
  2. Select the Advanced tab,
  3. Check the box next to the Show Develop menu in the menu bar.
  4. Navigate back to the menu bar on the top, and select Develop -> Empty Caches.
