Installing the latest versions will ensure your payroll software is compatible with the SARS software for submissions.
Resolution
You need to update your payroll software to Release 6.5a (available mid-September 2025) to submit your reconciliation for March to August 2025.
- The update includes new IRP5 codes and validations SARS applies for this tax year.
- This version ensures your payroll tax certificate file works with the latest SARS e@syFile™ Employer software.
- You can download the software from the Sage Portal.
TIP: Only install the update after all your companies have started a new pay period and before paying employees or printing final reports for that period.
