How to use Live Chat?

This article provides details to access Live Chat in Sage 200c VIP


Have a short, simple payroll query which needs a quick answer?

There is no need to wait in a telephone support queue, when you can chat online with a support consultant for those short, simple queries.


Access Live Chat from your payroll:

  • Log into any of your payroll companies
  • Click on the blue Live Chat button


You can also access Live Chat via the Lifeline button

  • Launch your payroll application
  • On the Company Listing Screen, select Help, Support Life line
  • You will be logged in automatically to the Customer Zone
  • Click on Quick Chat Support
  • Click on instant chat 


If you do not have access to your payroll, you can chat by logging into the Sage Portal

  • Go to your browser
  • Log into the Sage Portal with you site code, primary email address, and password
  • Access the Payroll and HR  portal
  • On the Home Page, under Sage Live Chat
  • Click on, click here to start chat

NOTE: This support feature is ideal for simple, short questions and queries. If your query is more complex in nature, requires any kind of reconciliation, report amendments or is too difficult to explain over Instant Chat, we will refer you to one of our other support channels.
