How do I activate additional Earnings and Deduction definitions

Summary

Sage 200c VIP and Sage Premier: This article will assist you to activate additional earnings and deductions on your payroll for Premier or Sage 200c VIP. This is not available to Sage Classic users.

Resolution

The steps below can be followed to activate additional earning and deduction lines.

  • From the Main Menu, select Company, Miscellaneous
  • Click on the Miscellaneous 2 tab
  • Tick the block next to Activate Additional Earnings and Deductions Functionality

NOTE: When you access the Earning Definition Screen (shortcut – ED) or the Deduction Definition Screen (Shortcut – DD) you will notice that there are now more earning and deduction definition lines to use. The lines are now increased from 36 to 72 definitions.
