Description

You can export tax certificates and reconciliation files for interim or year-end submissions. Options include validation runs, resubmissions, and certificate printing. Ensure you select the correct company, tax year, and export path before proceeding.  the system generates a validation report after export; resolved errors before continuing.

Resolution

Open the tax certificate export screen

  1. On the Navigation Pane, expand Exports.
  2. Double-click Tax Certificate Export.

Configure export settings

  1. Select:
    • Company: Choose the applicable company.
    • Tax Year: Select the relevant tax year (for example, 2017/2018).
  2. Under Export Type, choose one:
    • Termination Rule: Print certificates for terminated employees.
    • Interim Reconciliation: Create a mid-year reconciliation file.
    • Tax Year End: Create year-end reconciliation file and certificates.
    • Validation Run: Validate financial and non-financial data.
    • Resubmission Run – Same Certificates: Resubmit with previous certificate numbers.
    • Resubmission Run – New Certificates: Resubmit with new certificate numbers.
    • Reprint Certificates: Reprint generated certificates.
    • Income Tax Registration (ITREG): Export ITREG file for e@syFile.
    • EMP501 Report Only: Export only the EMP501 report.
  3. Select Company Rule Selection for specific rules.
  4. Under Certificate Printing Options, choose:
    • Print Certificates: Generate certificates and an EasyFile import file.
  5. Under Reports, select:
    • Print Summary Reports
    • Print EMP501 Reports
    • Print Recon Report
  6. Under File Options, choose:
    • Generate InfoSlips: Create certificates for InfoSlips.
  7. Under Run Type, select:
    • Test: Validate in e@syFile before live run.
    • Live: Export the final file for submission.
  8. Specify Export Path and confirm Filename.

Export and validate

  1. Click Export CSV to generate the file.
  2. Review the Validation Report:
    • Resolve errors before continuing.
    • Warnings allow you to proceed.
  3. View the EMP501 Recon Report on screen or export to Excel:
    • Right-click the grid and select Export to XLSX.
  4. Close the screen when complete.

Locate the export file

  • Find the file in the selected folder.
