Open Adjustment Batches
- On the Navigation Pane, expand Utilities.
- Expand Batches.
- Double-click System Defined Batches.
- Select Adjustment Batches.
Create the import file
- Select Create Import Batch File.
- Select the required Company Rule.
- Select the required Pay Run Definition.
- Select OK.
- Select the export format and save the location.
- Select OK.
- Wait for the export process to complete.
- Select OK when prompted.
Complete the Microsoft Excel file
- Open the exported Microsoft Excel file.
- Enter or update the required information.
Complete the following fields:
| Field | Description |

| Employee Code | Enter the employee code |
| Line Type | Enter the applicable line type code |
| Def Code | Enter the definition code to adjust |
| Backdated Adjustment Amount | Enter the adjustment amount |
| Effective Period | Enter the adjustment period |
Use the following line type codes:
- EA for Earnings
- DD for Deductions
- FB for Fringe Benefits
- AA for Additional Lines
- CC for Company Contributions
- Save the file.
Import the adjustment batch
- Return to Adjustment Batches.
- Select Process on the ribbon.
- Browse to the saved Microsoft Excel file.
- Select OK.
- Wait for the import process to complete.
- Select OK.
Review and complete the import
- Review the information displayed for import.
- Select OK to continue if the details are correct.
- Review the batch results.
- Confirm that the import completed successfully.
- Close the results screen.
- Select OK on the final confirmation screen.
