How do I run the data integrity check?

Summary

You will learn how to check the integrity of your company dataset in Sage 50cloud Pastel Accounting.

Description

You use this function to ensure there are no errors in your dataset. if you receive an error report, you will need to have these corrected as soon as possible.

Resolution

View the video below for steps on how to check your data integrity.

  • Select File > Data integrity
  • Select Next once a backup has been made

  • Select the option Verify the Data Only

  • Select Process
  • Once completed, we would expect a "no errors detected" screen as shown below:

  • If you receive an error report, Log a ticket with support
  • Attached the error report and your customer number
  • You will then receive a response with regards to the next steps
