You may observe the following error in various places within a Sage 200 Evolution company when processing, navigating, checking Enquiry screens, or printing reports.

Resolution

Consider the following advice to resolve the above error:

 

A. Recommended User Account Control Settings

On the Evolution server and all workstations, ensure the following steps have been applied:

1. Close Evolution on the server terminal.

2. Open the local PC’s Control Panel.

3. Click on the User Accounts link.

4. Click the option to Change User Account Control Settings as indicated below:

5. Drag the bar on the left down to the Never Notify setting, click the OK button to save the settings.

B. Recommended Regional Setting Setup Procedure

1. Close Evolution on the local terminal.

2. Go to Control Panel | Region and Language.

3. Change the format to English (United States) or English (United Kingdom) and then click the Additional Settings button below.

4. On the Currency tab, select R as the symbol (Local country currency symbol)

5. On the Date tab, enter an appropriate South African (local country) short date format: e.g. dd/MM/yyyy

6. When done, click OK above, close the above setup screens, open your Evolution company, and test if your initial problem has been resolved.

C. Registry Key Deletion 

Delete the Sage Evolution related Registry Editor Keys on the PC where the above error is observed.

D. Disable Database Audit Setup 

Do the following: 

1. Go to Administration | System Configurations | Database Audit Setup

2. Here, identify and disable any audit records currently running and then try to post again.
