Payroll reports generated in Excel use templates that rely on macros to populate data from CSV files. You need to enable macros for these reports to work.

Resolution

Change Macro Settings

  1. Open Microsoft Excel.
  2. Click File on the menu.
  3. Select Options.
  4. Click Trust Centre.
  5. Select Trust Centre Settings.
  6. Click Macro Settings.
  7. Choose Enable all macros.
  8. Click OK to apply the changes.

Running the Excel reports

When you generate any Excel report from payroll, click Enable Content when prompted.
