Description

Public holidays affect workday calculations in Sage 300 People. Each January, the Sage team provides an import sheet for holidays. It is your responsibility to ensure the holidays are correct and relevant before importing.

Resolution

Add a public holiday manually

  1. On the Navigation Pane, expand Company Management.
  2. Double-click Company Rule.
  3. Double-click the applicable Company Rule.
  4. Click Business Day Definition.
  5. Select New.
  6. Insert the applicable public holiday.
  7. Select Save.
  8. Recalculate the company rule.

    TIP:

     Select Yes when the system asks if you want to recalculate Work Days. 

Import public holidays from a file

  1. On the Navigation Pane, expand Company Management.
  2. Double-click Company Rule.
  3. Double-click the applicable Company Rule.
  4. Click Business Day Definition.
  5. Select New.
  6. Browse to the saved file and select Open.
  7. Select OK.
  8. Click Save.
