Link payroll definition lines to Separate Payslips
Description

Separate Payslips allows you to choose and link the different earnings and deductions for each payslip.

NOTE:

You'll need to activate and complete the setup of this function before starting any processing.

TIP:

Complete your planning before setting up the Separate Payslips. First decide on the number of payslips, and then the sequence of processing the payslips. Choose the earnings and deductions to link to each payslip, and the different payment dates.

  1. Access your company from the Company Listing screen.
  2. From the Main Menu, go to Company, then select Company Miscellaneous.
  3. Select Separate Payslip next to the Close button.
  4. Click Yes to continue.
  5. Select Link Earning 1 - 36 tab.
    The first 36 earnings display, with a column for each payslip.
  6. Select the earnings to include for each payslip. 
    You can specify the payslips column to include in each payslip (Fixed, Amount or Both columns).
  7. Select Link Earning 37 -72 tab.
    The second 36 earnings display (if any), with a column for each payslip.
    Link the earnings to the different separate payslips.

    NOTE:

    It's important that each line is linked to at least one payslip.

     

  8.  Select Link Deduction 1 - 36 tab.
    The first 36 deductions display, with a column for each payslip.
  9. Select the deductions to include for each payslip.
    The system split statutory deduction amounts across all payslips. 
    Choose Link all Ded's to link all deduction to a specific payslip.
  10. Select Link Deduction 37 -72 tab.
    The second 36 earnings display (if any), with a column for each payslip.
    Link the earnings to the different separate payslips.
  11. Click Close to save settings and return to the Main Menu.
    The system runs an automatic recalculation based on your setup.

CAUTION:

Contact your Business Partner for assistance with setup and processing planning using Separate Payslips. If you process the payslips incorrectly, it will stop you from starting a new pay period.
