Region and language settings
Description

Ensure that you've configured your Windows region and language settings as these settings directly influence Sage 50cloud Pastel.

Cause
Resolution
  1. Go to Search and type Control Panel.
  2. Open the Control Panel and Set View by to Large or Small icons.
  3. Select Region then Format and select English South Africa.
  4. Click Additional Settings and select Numbers tab.
  5. Set Decimal symbol to a full stop and Digit grouping symbol to a comma.
  6. Set List separator to a comma and select Currency tab.
  7. Set Decimal symbol to a full stop and Digit grouping symbol to a comma.
  8. Select the Date tab and set the Short date to dd/mm/yyyy.
    Type the option in if you can't find it.
  9. Click Apply and OK.
  10. Click Administrative tab and make sure Language for non-Unicode programs is English (South Africa).
  11. Click Change system locale and make sure Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support is off.
