How to exclude a Personal Service Provider from Equity reporting
Description

Your Equity report includes the details of a company or trust on your payroll. You need to exclude the records from your reporting.

Cause
The Equity record created when the employee profile gender was male or female. The gender changed to Company and Trust, however the Equity record remained active.
Resolution

Change the gender of the record

  1. From the Main Menu, to Employee.
  2. Select Change Employee.
  3. Select the company/trust record from the list.
  4. Click Personal Details tab.
  5. Change the Gender to either Male or Female.
  6. Click Save and return to the Main Menu.

Exclude the record from Equity reporting

  1. From the Main Menu, go to Equity.
  2. Select Employee Equity Information.
  3. Select the employee record to exclude.
  4. Type EQD in the routing block.
  5. Press Enter.
  6. An onscreen message requires you to confirm to delete the record. Click Yes to confirm.
  7. The follow-up screen creates awareness of the process (deleting the Equity record and history). Click Yes to confirm.
  8. Click Save and return to the Main Menu.

Correct the gender of the record

  1. From the Main Menu, to Employee.
  2. Select Change Employee.
  3. Select the company/trust record from the list.
  4. Click Personal Details tab.
  5. Change the Gender to either Company or Trust.
  6. Click Save and return to the Main Menu.
