Step 1 - Log into your Sage account Step 2 - Access 'My Account' - On the subscription screen, click on your username at the top right of the screen
- A drop-down menu will appear; select My Account

- You will be required to login again with your username and password
Step 3 - Manage your account - Select 2-factor authentication


- You will receive the onscreen notification once the emails was sent

Step 4 - Click on the link on email - Access you email and locate the email with the subject 'Set up 2-factor authentication for your Sage account' from the email address [email protected]

Step 5 - Different ways to authenticate - When you click on the link you will have multiple methods to send up authentication
Authenticator Apps Sage 2FA is compatible with most authenticator apps. A few of the best known are Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator and Authy Authenticator. - Simply download the app of your choice from your App Store on iPhones or from Google Play on Android phones.
- Use the authenticator app to scan the QR code, then enter the 6-digit code generated by the app and click Continue.
 - Record the recovery code you will receive onscreen and store in a safe location. You will need this code to access your account if you do not have access to your mobile phone to retrieve the one-time passcode when logging into your account
- Select the I have recorded my recovery code check box, then click Continue
- Once you have completed these steps, 2-factor authentication is activated and you will begin to receive codes to your mobile device when logging in to your product or service.
Verify a different way instead - As alternative, your can select to receive a phone call or text (SMS) message

- Select Phone (Text message or phone call)

Text message - Select the Phone option, then ensure the Text message box is highlighted, enter your phone number and click Continue.
- Check the text messages to retrieve your one-time passcode. Enter the code and click Continue.
- Record the recovery code and store in a safe location. You will need this code to access your account if you do not have access to your mobile phone to retrieve the one-time passcode when logging into your account.
- Select the I have recorded my recovery code check box, then click Continue.
- Once you have completed these steps, 2-factor authentication is activated and you will begin to receive codes to your mobile device when logging in to your product or service.
Phone call - Select the Phone option, then ensure the Phone call box is highlighted, enter your phone number and click Continue.
- Answer the call or listen to your voicemail to hear your one-time passcode. Enter the code and click Continue.
- Record the recovery code and store in a safe location. You will need this code to access your account if you do not have access to your mobile phone to retrieve the one-time passcode when logging into your account.
- Select the I have recorded my recovery code check box, then click Continue.
- Once you have completed these steps, 2-factor authentication is activated and you will begin to receive codes to your mobile device when logging in to your product or service.
