Update your renewal code
Description

The renewal code contains the software licence including the following information:

  • The registration date
  • The number of employees you can process and pay on the payroll
  • The licensed modules you can access

When we create a new licence code, you’ll need to update this on the system.

Cause
Resolution

Access the renewal screen

  1. Open your payroll system.
  2. Verify that you are on the latest version of the software application.

TIP:

The system version appears at the top-right corner of the Company Listing screen.

  1. On the Company Listing screen, click Renewal.

Update the new renewal code

  1. On the Company Listing Screen, click the Renewal icon.

  1. The latest renewal code updates automatically. 

TIP:

If the code didn't appear in the block, you'll need to copy and paste the code to update. You can generate a new code from the Sage Portal if needed. 

  1.  Click Continue to apply the new renewal code.

Review the registration details

When you update the new code, review the following details:

  • System type
  • Site code (your account number with Sage)
  • Maximum Amount of Employees (live employees licensed for the system)
  • Registration Expiry Date (until which calendar month you can start a new pay period)
  • Licence Modules
