Reauthorisation of bank account details
Description

You'll need to reauthorise your bank account details every 90 days.

If you fail to do this, you can receive a message advising you that the bank account details require authorisation.

Your bank can ask you to reauthorise your bank account details if they have made any security changes to the banking website.

Cause
Resolution
  1. Go to Banking then Transactions.
  2. Select Manage Bank Feeds.
  3. Click Update Login Details.
  4. Re-enter your online banking login credentials.
  5. Ensure you accept the authentication request from your bank.
  6. Click Save.     

A pop-up blocker can cause the screen to fail when you need to enter your online banking login credentials.

Reauthorisation isn’t working

  1. Log in to online banking profile.
  2. Ensure there are no other messages or additional screens that require attention.
  3. Ensure that you act by accepting and closing any screens.
  4. Reauthorise your online banking login credentials again from within Sage Accounting.
