Sage Bank Feeds(Banking Cloud): Define a Bank Account or Credit Card Account setup in Sage Accounting
Description

The below steps will guide a user in creating a bank account or credit card account in order to link Sage Bank Feeds.

Cause
Resolution

Click on Banking > Lists > List of Banks and Credit Cards and follow these simple steps:

Click on the Add a Bank or Credit Card button.

  1. Enter Bank Account Name
  2. Create a Category to group this bank account (optional)
  3. Select the Default Payment Method for this account
  4. Enter the Bank Name
  5. Enter the Account Number (optional)
  6. Enter the Branch Name (optional)
  7. Enter the Branch Code/BSB (optional)
  8. Enter the Opening Balance for this bank account
  9. Enter the Opening Balance Date for this bank account
  10. Provide any description to this bank account (optional)
  11. Tick "Active" if this bank account is active and will be used in the system*
  12. Tick "Default" if you wish to mark this bank account as the default account to appear when you go to Banking page*
  13. Click on Save.
