Activate Stop Further Entry (SFE)
Description

The Stop Further Entry (SFE) function in payroll prevents any additional entries or changes to an employee's payroll record after a certain point.

Cause
Resolution
  1. Access your company from the Company Listing screen.
  2. From the Main Menu select Company, then select Stop Further Entry.
  3. Select Activate Stop Further Entry.
  4. Select options to activate:
    • Activate SFE for Payroll: Default option, and stops all payroll entry and employee record input
    • Activate SFE for Leave: Stop any leave changes for the current processing period
  5. Click Close to return to the Main Menu.

A red banner confirms you've activated Stop Further Entry.

NOTE:

The Stop Further Entry flagging (SFE) automatically resets when you start a new pay period.
