| Description | You can apply ODBC changes for these reasons: - A new or upgraded computer required ODBC reinstallation
- An update needs ODBC drivers to reconnect
- Changes in user permissions
- Payroll changes require refreshed data links
- Change the payroll directory to run reports

| Resolution | - On your desktop, right-click the application icon.
- Select Properties, then select Advanced.
- Select Run as Administrator.
- Select Apply, then select Close.
- Open the Sage VIP application.
- Access your company from the Company Listing screen.
- From the Main Menu, select Utilities.
- Select VIP ODBC Configuration.
- Enter your login credentials and click OK.
- Review Data Sources and Permissions for all companies.
- Click Apply Changes.
- When the progress message appears, click OK.
- When the completion message appears, click OK.
