Print the Unemployment Insurance Fund submission report
Description
South African Employers must submit UIF employee returns according to the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) Act. The UIF Submit report creates the declaration file in the correct format to submit to the fund.
The report generates for the current month from your live payroll. For historic submission files, you'll need to generate from company backups.
NOTE:
Verify that all company information on the screen is correct. This information appears in the submission file. Update details on theBasic Company Information screen if needed.

Resolution
Access your South African company from the Company Listing screen.
From the Main Menu, go to Reports,then select Reports and Maintenance.
Select UIF Submit.
The Real Number for this report is 651
Click Continue.
Review the UIF creator and contact details.
Correct the details onscreen, or on the Basic Company Information screen
Click Continue.
Choose to run the report for Current Company or Multiple Companies.
If selecting multiple companies, ensure all share the same UIF registration number
Select the Type of Run:
Live Run
Test Run
Enter the File Number (used as the file extension).
The system increments this number each time you generate the report
Choose the Destination Path to save the electronic file.
TIP:
You can't save the file directly to the C:\ drive, you'll need to select a folder.
Click Continue.
If the system finds any missing information or errors, an onscreen message displays:
Click Abort and review the error report
Click Continue to start printing the report and create a declaration file
An onscreen message confirms creation of the declaration file and displays the email address for submission.
Click Continue
An option to email the declaration file automatically displays:
Click Yes to email the declaration to the fund automatically
Click No to send the email with the declaration file manually
NOTE:
Email the UIF declaration file to [email protected] with the subject 'Declarations'. You can only attach one declaration file per email.
The PDF report opens and the declaration file is available in the selected location.
