Sage VIP requires Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, which includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0, for certain features. Most computers have .NET 4.5 or higher, but you need to enable .NET 3.5 for the payroll application to run successfully.

Activate Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5

1. Open your computer’s Control Panel.
2. Select Programs and Features.
3. Click Turn Windows features on or off.
4. Tick all boxes related to .NET Framework 3.5.

 TIP: If you can’t tick the boxes, contact your IT team to download and install .NET Framework 3.5.
