According to the Department of Employment and Labour (DoEL), employers with electronic payroll systems, can submit the electronic payroll system file instead of the declaration forms, if it complies with the file layout. The specifications of the E03 file layout which the UIF Submission report has been designed in you payroll, is available here. The UIF submission files created by your payroll must be sent to [email protected] (previously it was [email protected]). T his email address was communicated by DoEL to be used going forwards due to intermittent issues on their side). uFiling is currently used by employers without electronic payroll systems, to submit their employee data.  NOTE: The payroll system's UIF Submission file is not compatible with uFiling, as the uFiling layout differs from the E03 layout.
